Omar Bin Laden

Who is Omar Bin Laden? well Omar Bin Laden is the son of the most wanted man in this world. He is the son of Osama Bin Laden. Their has been a recent report from ABC news where Omar speaks his opinion and sends chills to American Citizens. Unlike his father Omar has rejected his fathers Philosophy. In a video that was taken you can see him in a plain t-shirt and jeans. His father, Osama had picked him to succeed him as the leader of jihad. I have said that his words were very frighten to us because on february 11, 2010 he stated that his father might be the most nicest man out of all the Al Qaeda members. He believes this because he thinks that the new members are more heartless then his father will ever be. He also states that if we think we have seen bad it gets worser because their mentality is to increase the violence each and every day. Omar believes that for those that are searching for his father they will never find him because there will always be a dessert, hill or cave where Osama will be able to hide, and he also believes that nobody from Pakistan or Afghanistan will give him in if anything they would ask him to leave.  Omar Bin Laden also in 2008 sent a message out to his father to "Find another way" so that maybe the violence can stop.

Osama Bin Laden's bio

Osama Bin Laden was born in the year of 1957, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to a Syrian mother. Bin Laden was the seventh child of about 50 children of Saudi Arabia's wealthy families. His father named Mohammed Awad Bin Laden was a very poor laborer to end up owner as the biggest construction company. Bin Laden, the father was appointed some time in his life as the minister of public works because of his support to the king. Although  he was a strict serious father Mohammad Bin Laden was said to be a very generous, humble, and devoted muslim in his life. Osama lost his father when he was just 13 and he married a relative at the age of 17. Bin Laden attended a university called King Abdul Aziz, in which he received a degree in public administration in Jeddah. Around 1979 when the Soviet invaded the Afghanistan region Bin Laden became part of the Afghan resistance. After the soviet withdrew in 1989 Bin Laden went back home as a hero, but was shortly disappointed by his corrupted family and government. When he discovered the presence of U.S troops during the Persian Gulf war he rejected this idea. In 1986 Osama decided to have his own camps in Afghanistan and two years later he had built more then six camps.

The history of the Bin Laden Family

what are Al Qaeda's strengths and weaknesses?

Many may be curious whether or not Al Qaeda has weaknesses, well this organization does. We will first talk about Al Qaeda's strengths which are pretty plain and simple. The image is clear like water Al Qaeda's message to the world is that "islam is under attack' in every prospective either religiously, economically, or militarily. This message is believed by many because it is partly true to some eyes. The western world is controlled by the United States, so they justify Al Qaeda's actions in this matter blaming the United States. Another strength of Al Qaeda is that it is the most feared terrorist organization in the world. This favors Al Qaeda because many young people believe that being a Jihadi, meaning that they are related to a holy war waged by Muslims against infidels. Since this terrorist group is open to anybody, not caring about their ethnicity or nationality anybody is able to join. A major weakness is the killing of civilians, were it is never justified. Another weakness is politics. Politics is a major weakness because Al Qaeda is unwilling to prepare to a transition to politics. Its only appeal is the continuation of violence, which is very bad because its allies will soon seek for a negotiable political solution with their enemies. It is also believed that some time in the world Al Qaeda will loose its attraction towards people and its extremist ideologies will fade.

President Bush Announcing Invasion of Iraq

history of Al Qaeda continued.

On February 22, 1998 Osama called attack on American citizens, which in my opinion I believe most of terrorized many people. After the announcement made by Osama on October 12, 2000 two suicide bombers who were suspected to be involved with Osama attacked the Navy destroyer killing 17 sailers. On June 19, 2001 Osama released a taped message in which many believe that the World Trade Center attacks were triggered. By august 2001 Osama threatened an attack on the U.S and as we all may know he was speaking with the truth. On the unforgettable day that all us Americans will alway have in our memory, the World Trade Center, Pennsylvania, and Washington were attacked by hijacked planes of suicide bombers that were part of Al Qaeda. after two years one of the master minds of the September 11 attacks was arrested on March 1, 2003, his name was Khalid Shaikh Mohammed. On march 2003 the United States attacked Iraq, a few days later president George W. Bush declared major combat in iraq.

brief history of Al Qaeda

1989 was when this world wide terrorist network began. Osama Bin Laden founded a international group named Al Qaeda, this name had a meaning which was the "base". It is formed primarily of Mujahedeen, which meant holy warriors. by 1993 Bin Laden had planted bases of militant training camps in Sudan, and thats when he began his search for nuclear weapons. In feb 26 1993 was Al Qaeda's first attack against the United States of America when a 500K.G bomb exploded under the World Trade Center. After the bomb on the World Trade Center Al Qaeda attacked UN troops in Somalia killing 18 US service men on October 8, 1993. After that on June 26,1995 Al Qaeda tried to assassinate Egyptian president in Ethiopia. When 2 bombs kills 5 Americans in a US-Saudi military facility on November 13, 1995 Bin Laden is blamed for the attack. In 1996 Osama Bin Laden was expelled from Sudan, so Al Qaeda is moved to Afghanistan. On June 25, 1996 Bin Laden followers bomb a U.S military base killing 19 American soldiers.

why I am interested in Al qaeda?

Many that read this blog may ask why i have chosen to write about Al qaeda. One of the main reasons is because Al qaeda is the most known international terrorist network in the world. Al qaeda is led by Usama Bin Laden or also known as Osama, the reason that many people spell in these two different ways is because it is originally translated from Arabic. Since Arabic does not use our alphabet then translation can vary. Al qaeda became well known by the people of the United States September 11, 2001. This was the day that a series of coordinated suicide attacks were planned by Al qaeda upon the United States. Another fact that has interested me is that Al qaeda has trained over 5,000 militants in camps in Afghanistan since the late 1980's. Bin Laden is said to be part of a billionaire family that owned the Bin Laden group construction empire, which it said that he inherited tens of millions of dollars that he uses to help finance Al qaeda. There are many interesting facts behind Al qaeda that many people don't know and that's why i have chosen this topic to inform people about this terrorist network.
